City makes first approval of workforce housing

There may be temporary relief in the future for Odessa’s housing boom as Odessa City Council members made their first move in bringing workforce housing to town.

At their meeting Tuesday evening, City Council members made their first approval for an industrial district agreement with Goliath Energy Services to facilitate the development of a trucking company and industrial workforce housing.
