Odessa Development Corp. members deferred making a decision Thursday on contracts with a workforce housing company.
ODC members discussed contracts regarding Target Logistics Management, a provider of workforce housing, in executive session. However, Keith said no decision was made and further consideration of the contracts will be moved to their April meeting.Posted:03/07/2012
Odessa’s check from the state comptroller’s office for January sales kept things monotonous: the 23rd consecutive month of year-over-year growth.
Odessa’s March sales tax check of $2,438,618.30 was 21.09 percent greater than one year ago. If that, the city will receive $1,950,894.64 and the Odessa Development Corporation will receive $487,723.66 based on its quarter-cent tax.
For the year, the city has $8.4 million in sales-tax revenue compared to $6.8 million after the first quarter of 2011.Posted:03/03/2012IF YOU GO:
